Personal Statement
Ever since I was very little I have loved working with computer technology. It probably helped that my father was a computer programmer. Over the past 18 years I have worked in just about every type of IT position you can think of. My first job as a 15 year old high school student was working as a PC Depo Tech (Hardware & Software Specialist) for a local computer retailer. After graduating high school I did Field Tech Support for a few IT consulting firms, then rose through the ranks in college working for the ISP Seakeasy.net in Tier I, Tier II and Tier III Support, Operations and Network Administration. I have also worked as a Trainer/Instructor and Manager.
I have been a part-time faculty member here at North Seattle College since the end of 2010 and teach various five credit courses in IT, Electronics and Robotics (specifically IT Essentials A+ Certification I & II (EET131 and EET132), as well as Into To Robotics (EET137), Networking OS I, II & III (IT122-IT126), Network+ (IT120) and Security+ (IT150)).
