Personal Statement
I am a full time instructor at North Seattle College in the English Department. I am originally from the Big Island of Hawai'i but have lived on the island of Oahu for several years as well. While I do miss the consistent sunshine, I have come to love the city of Seattle and have called it home for the last several years. I am passionate about teaching writing and working with diverse sets of students and student-experiences. I have taught a variety of writing classes at the University of Hawai'i and the University of Washington, and I look forward to building community with all of you at NSC!
