Personal Statement

I believe that teaching and learning should be an active process, so I use a variety of interactive techniques that immerse students in the subject matter.

Curriculum Vitae

Born and raised in Moscow, Russia, I received bilingual education from the age of 7. I have many years of successful language instruction experience in both English and Russian, and I hold a Master’s Degree with Honors in English language and comparative literature.

I have eighteen years of experience as an English as a Second Language Instructor at North Seattle (Community) College where I started teaching back in 2005.

I have taught a wide variety of courses including Integrated Skills, Speaking and Listening, Focus on Writing, Reading and Writing, and Computer Literacy classes.
